My Shenandoah County, Virginia Ancestors
My grandfather's mother's ancestors had settled in Shenandoah County, Virginia in the 1700's. My great grandmother Cora Lee Hamman descends from two of Johannes 'John' Hottel's children. My great-great grandfather, George Christopher Hamman descends from John Hottel's son Johann Georg. My great-great grandmother, Kate J. Fravel descends from Johannes 'John' Hottel's daughter, Anna Barbara Hottel, who married George Keller.
